Julie Ramona Tjalas

Based in the Phoenix Area, Arizona

Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Julie Ramona Tjalas is an award-winning filmmaker driven to create and inspire. After graduating Cum Laude from Arizona State University, Julie has served as the Video Production Specialist for Central Arizona College. At the college, she spearheaded a spotlight campaign called “We Are CAC.” Julie consolidated the college’s online presence on YouTube and grew the official YouTube channel by over 300%. To reach that point, Julie built the video production pipeline from the ground up to serve the entire district, which houses 5 campuses across Pinal County.

Beyond that, her freelance work includes editing and
motion graphics for YouTube influencers like Annamarie Forcino, and developing behind-the-scenes promotional material for The Rescuers Last Chance Project, a holocaust documentary. On that same documentary, Julie worked as the Digital Imaging Technician. She also directs music videos for local bands like My Upside Down and the Rebel Set.

She is proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

In her spare time, Julie enjoys playing D&D with her friends, going to the gym, stage-managing community theatre, and road-tripping.
